About
My name is Yoav Landau - I am an Israeli musician, audio engineer and music producer.

I have over a decade worth of experience playing, writing and recording music. I was a member of several local independent bands, with whom I performed all across the country.
Since 2018 I've been making music with my solo projects The Gloom and Ragdoll Junkie. The Gloom's releases have been featured on publications such as Post-Punk.com.

I lived in London in the years 2021-2025 and studied Audio Production (BA Hons.) at SAE Institute. After graduating First Class, I joined SAE's staff as a Campus Support Technician.
At SAE I learned how to use industry-standard analogue consoles such as the SSL 4000 G+ and the Neve VR Legend, while polishing my recording, editing and mixing skills. I also learned how to work with a 24-track magnetic tape recorder, including alignment and maintenance.

While in London I collaborated with local artists as an engineer, instrumentalist and producer. Some of the music I worked on, such as Fran Lusty's 'Oceans Apart' and 'Made a Friend in Nashville', were featured on BBC Introducing and BBC Radio 1.
